NEWS: Eddie Hermida (Suicide Silence) responds to sexual misconduct allegations!

Within the wake of victims of sexual misconduct, harassment and abuse coming forward from throughout the scene, it seems that Suicide Silence frontman Eddie Hermida has also been subject to a series of allegations. Verena Celis, who accused Hermida of “emotionally and sexually manipulating” her while she was 17 and he was 32, also states that the vocalist sent her explicit photographs when she was underage.

FEATURE: 50 albums that turn 10 in 2017!

A decade is, especially in the music world, quite a long time, even if it does seem to just flash by and feel like just a month. Ten years ago, back in 2007, things were very different; MySpace was still the kingpin of social media, Bring Me The Horizon were dodging bottles whilst supporting Killswitch Engage night after night, and Give It A Name and Taste Of Chaos were still a thing.

Along with all the nostalgic memories, 2007 was also host to a plethora of great records, some being the first major step for a lot of bands towards the lofty heights of their career that they’re revelling in today.

NEWS: Fans petition for Suicide Silence to not release self-titled album!

Californian heavy hitters Suicide Silence are steadily gearing up for the release of their self-titled and fourth overall record later this month, and its already met a bit of backlash.

After a bit of unease when the band claimed there’d be around “70% clean vocals” on the album, the first two offerings ‘Doris’ and ‘Silence’ saw even more distaste, both currently seeing a higher unlike to like ratio on their YouTube streams.

Having been working hard in the studio of the best part of this year, Californian deathcore aficionados Suicide Silence have now unveiled the details surrounding their self-titled and fifth overall album, which will follow-up 2014’s ‘You Can’t Stop Me’. The eponymous full-length album will see a release on February 24th 2017 via Nuclear Blast Records.
