Heavy hitters The Ghost Inside admittedly aren’t regular visitors to the UK, but when they do they’re surely a band not to be missed. Touring in promotion of their latest full-length, ‘Get What You Give’, the Californian powerhouse are hitting up some rather tiny venues on this tour run, sponsored by both Impericon and Rock Sound, including Manchester’s Academy 3, which we stood witness to.

Last time I saw Every Time I Die, it was on the Hell On Earth tour way back in 2010 and it was quite possibly the best gig I have ever been to. Because of that, I went into this gig with ridiculously high expectations that I knew ETID would meet and surpass. Plus, with the added bonus of it being Halloween, there were some fucking amazing costumes. To the guy dressed as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters, seeing you run around in a circle pit was one of the greatest things I have seen in a while. Love you man.

Following the largely successful yet opinion polarising album that was ‘The Here And Now’ back in 2011, Architects have promised a somewhat return to their more aggressive and far less radio rock roots with their forthcoming effort, ‘Daybreaker’. Despite the unquestionable success that their last full-length ‘The Here And Now’ brought to Brighton metalcore outfit Architects, the more mainstream and radio friendly nature of the record polarised a lot of opinions within their fanbase. Now, with a new album with a lot more “balls” on the way, the band are set on a headline UK tour, revisiting some of the less acknowledged cities at more intimate venues. Tonight, it’s Liverpool’s rather small O2 Academy 2.
