It’s happened, Slam Dunk Festival has officially turned 10 years old. Back when it started out in 2006, it was composed of seven bands on one stage, headlined by Fall Out Boy. Yet, here we are today, with a festival that is hosted at three separate locations across the UK, including a new home in Birmingham – the biggest site of them all – with eight stages hosting at least seven bands each. It’s truly exploded into one of the biggest alternative festivals the country has to offer, and with Panic! At The Disco picked to headline their biggest milestone yet, it seems this is still early days in the grand scheme of it all.

As if there was any actual doubt, Slam Dunk has cemented itself as the quintessential festival for fans of all kinds of alternative music. The multi-stage May weekender consistently boasts the best line-up for all things punk rock, hardcore, metalcore, and everything inbetween. This year marks the tenth anniversary and a brand new venue at the NEC, Birmingham for the midlands leg of the Bank Holiday event. Panic! At The Disco top the bill for their very first appearance at Slam Dunk Festival, but there’s no less than 8 different stages filled with international bands to keep you entertained all day.

NEWS: Acoustic stage line-up confirmed for Slam Dunk Festival 2016!

Now adding an eighth stage to this year’s festivities, the organisers of Slam Dunk Festival have now confirmed the line-up that will compose the acoustic/solo stage at the bank holiday weekender. Along with stage headliner The Rocket Summer, the likes of Rob Lynch and Seafoal will also be performing on the stage across the three dates in the three cities.
