It’s clear that September Mourning‘s enchantingly baroque image has been very carefully cultivated to ensnare a rather specific (and massively profitable) audience. The sweeping apparel and heavily gothic ambience is all very Evanescene/In This Moment, and it comes as very little surprise that the music here is just as meticulously taylored towards that marketable sound.
