You may have heard some of the more established bands, but these previews may introduce you to similar bands that are in the same vain.

Welsh alternative rock festival Merthyr Rovk have announced the full line-up for what will be one of the last musical festivals of the Summer, with the additions of Sonic Boom Six and Rise To Remain on the Saturday night. The full stage splits have also been announced, which can be viewed below:

London metalcore outfit Rise To Remain have just released their brand new track ‘Heartless’ for free download, which is one of the four brand new tracks set to feature on the band’s US release of their debut album ‘City Of Vultures’, released June 5th 2012.

Since the release of their debut album ‘City Of Vultures’ towards the end of last year, London metalcore mob Rise To Remain have been a fairly busy bunch, and sadly even recently suffered from the loss of two members leaving the band to pursue other things in their lives. However, a few months later they’re back on the road, new members equipped and ready to pick up where they left off since their last UK tour.

Back with a full fresh line-up after recruiting new bassist Josh Hammon and drummer Adam Lewin, London metalcore outfit Rise To Remain are back on the road next month with Heaven Shall Burn, as part of the Impericon Progression tour. To celebrate, we’re giving away two tickets for you and a friend to see the guys at the Manchester date of the tour (March 14th 2012) along with a signed copy of their album, ‘City Of Vultures’. One of Britain’s brightest young metal acts Rise To Remain have sadly had to cancel their US tour following the depature of their bassist Joe Copcutt and drummer Pat Lundy. The band apologise to all their US fans, but would like to assure them that they will be playing shows there very soon.
Both Rise To Remain and us here at DEAD PRESS! would like to wish both Joe and Pat well with all their plans for the future.
