Plain White T’s were the height of pop music in 2007 when ‘Hey There Delilah’ hit the charts and sold millions of copies internationally, but, of course, were immediately dismissed by the pop-punk community as sell-outs/pop rubbish, etc. Of course, the band pushed the record as much as possible with re-releases and even listing the track on two separate albums, but before the chart single came plenty of reputable material (mainly in ‘Stop’ and ‘All That We Needed’).

Download have added yet more bands onto this year’s festival bill. Along with a reunited performance from modern glam rock outfit The Darkness, other newly announced bands also performing at the festival this year are Funeral For A Friend, Framing Hanley, Plain White T’s, Kvelertak and Hyro Da Hero have been confirmed to play this year’s Download Festival.
