NEWS: My Chemical Romance confirm 10th anniversary reissue of ‘The Black Parade’!


After weeks of speculation following a teaser video posted by the band earlier this month, My Chemical Romance have now detailed a 10th anniversary reissue of their critically acclaimed 2006 LP, ‘The Black Parade’. The reissue, titled ‘The Black Parade/Living With Ghosts’, is set for release on September 23rd 2016 via Reprise Records.

Along with the first disc of the original album, a second disc (the ‘Living With Ghosts’ part) will feature 11 additional tracks of previously unheard demos, rarities and songs from the ‘The Black Parade’ album recording sessions.

Three years since calling it a day back in 2013, rock megastars My Chemical Romance have posted a mysterious video online.

Featuring a white flag flowing in the wind to the opening piano notes of ‘The Black Parade’, it is unclear whether this signals an anniversary tour, a fully fledged reformation or perhaps even the release date of a new album, but it seems as though all will be revealed on September 23rd. At the moment, it’s looking like 2016 is going to be a great year in terms of new albums, with a handful of huge bangers already out there and many more undoubted hits confirmed to be hitting out ears in the next few months. It’s also important to look back every so often, and it just turns out that a decade ago in 2006 was a great year for albums too.
