In an age where record labels are becoming less and less important for bands to get their music out there to a wide audience, at least in the beginning, sites and schemes like PledgeMusic and Kickstarter are becoming more and more popular. Belfast trio, Mojo Fury, have opted for this route to fund their upcoming album, ‘The Difference Between’, allowing the fans to be more involved and, as a result, help create their new record. Opening act Mojo Fury (****) give a thorough and entertaining performance. Sounding like a toned down Pulled Apart By Horses, their ambient indie rock entertains the crowd. Honestly, there isn’t much movement, but there rarely is at this point in the evening. Lead singer Michael Mormecha has a unique voice, one perfect for rock though, and belts out some captivating songs such as ‘To Comprehend’. A great band for sure and one that you should check out soon.

NEWS: Sonisphere add 24 more bands to complete the 2011 line-up!

Sonisphere have added a final 24 more band’s onto the roster to complete the line-up for this year’s festival in Knebworth. The festival will see these newly added bands performing across the July weekend: Sonic Boom Six, The Defiled, Black Spiders, Anberlin, Black Breath, Blood Red Shoes, Cerebral Ballzy, Cherri Bomb, Decade, Don Broco, Exit Ten, Flats, Hammer Of The Gods, InnerPartySystem, Mojo Fury, Panic Cell, Revoker, Rival Sons, Slam Cartel, Sons Of Icarus, The Safety Fire, Turbowolf, While She Sleeps and Young Legionnaire.
