Seriously heavy supergroup End put out a stormer of a debut EP called ‘From The Unforgiving Arms Of God’ earlier this year, and, admittedly, our ears are still ringing from it. Now, they’ve got our eyes ringing alongside them with a new video for their song, ‘Necessary Death’.
An awful lot can happen in five years. It could have been tough for Misery Signals to stay relevant to the metalcore scene after spending half a decade in silence since their last offering, ‘Controller’. So, it’s with relief then that it appears the Wisconsin quintet have used their time wisely in creating its follow-up, ‘Absent Light’; a meticulous, crushing and intricate album.

Metalcore unit Misery Signals have announced details for their upcoming fourth full length. The new record, entitled ‘Absent Light’, will be released July 23rd 2013. The band funded the record through an highly successful IndieGogo campaign, through which fans fund the recording of the album directly. Guitarist Ryan Morgan had this to say of the campaign:

After relentless touring all year across the world with various support bands, Misery Signals bring 2009 to a close with a few final European dates. On their Manchester date at the Moho Live venue, DEAD PRESS! met up with the band’s vocalist Karl Schubach before the show to catch-up on what the band have been up to over the past few crazy months.
