It is undeniable; Marya Roxx has a great rock voice. Sweet when it needs to be, gravelly and coarse when she wants to rock out. It’s an impressive talent. Unfortunately, this is the only saving grace of an otherwise forgettable, middle of the road album. Things get off to an okay start with the chugging ‘Time To Run’. The band’s musicianship is competent, and their ’80s throwback style is well implemented. Their sound begins to drag soon though, and by third track ‘Strong’, it’s clear that the band don’t enjoy straying from one particular style.
