The underground British music scene needs more acts that think a bit more out of the box, and attempt to write music that’s a little less straight forward whilst still maintaining the essence of an actual song. Brighton-based outfit If Heroes Should Fail may not quite be heroes yet, but they’re far from failure in creating some more thought provoking music.

GALLERY: Hevy Festival – Saturday (06/08/2011)

Not many music festivals are held at animal parks where you can visit the animals alongside seeing some of your favourite bands, but Hevy is certainly one that provides just that. Now with music spread across for a three day weekend, it’s better than ever before. We managed to catch a bunch of shots whilst there, and with the second day bringing us well into the festivities of Hevy, bands such as the day’s headliners The Dillinger Escape Plan kept us wanting more.
