NEWS: Ex-I See Stars members Zach Johnson & Jimmy Gregerson state they were asked to leave!

Despite several months of speculation as to their current positions in I See Stars due inactivity on the road, now former guitarist Jimmy Gregerson and screamer/keyboardist Zach Johnson have confirmed in respective statements that they are no longer part of the group, and were both asked to leave the band. Further suspicions as to how long they’d be away from the band escalated following the release of a teaser video and image with new music to advertise a North American tour last week, both of which only featured the other four members of the band.

Michigan based post-hardcore/electronica based outfit have teased a snippet of new material, assumingly titled ‘Light In The Cave’, within a video preview of a forthcoming headline US tour. The video, however, only depicts four members, leading the fans to assume that unclean vocalist Zach Johnson may no longer be in the band, or at least indefinitely inactive from the group.
