NEWS: Ex-I See Stars members Zach Johnson & Jimmy Gregerson state they were asked to leave!

Despite several months of speculation as to their current positions in I See Stars due inactivity on the road, now former guitarist Jimmy Gregerson and screamer/keyboardist Zach Johnson have confirmed in respective statements that they are no longer part of the group, and were both asked to leave the band. Further suspicions as to how long they’d be away from the band escalated following the release of a teaser video and image with new music to advertise a North American tour last week, both of which only featured the other four members of the band.

Despite heading over to the UK on several occassions with support slots for the likes of Parkway Drive and even a few appearance at festivals like Slam Dunk, a headline UK tour for The Word Alive is long overdue, and what better time than ahead of the release of their third full-length album? However, sadly the Phoenix outfit don’t seem to pull in a massive crowd at the Manchester and final date of the UK leg, but this surely won’t put them off.
