On the back of their debut album ‘All Our Kings Are Dead’, High Wycombe’s pop-rock outfit Young Guns have managed to achieve formidable success over the past 14 months, including a re-release of the album. With the final tour cycle of the record before going into the studio to finish off their sophomore effort, the British quintet need to leave a lasting impression to tide their fans over whilst the band are cooped away creating fresh material.
Now that this year’s Warped Tour has completely wrapped up, Every Avenue have posted a compilation of their time throughout it online for you all to see:
A band must be pretty decent, or very lucky, to have played in two consecutive Warped Tours. Either that, or they’ve got friends in high places. Every Avenue, on the basis of their new album, ‘Bad Habits’, have deserved all the good things that have come their way. However, it would be hard to say this listening to their previous two albums, ‘Shh. Just Go With It’, and ‘Picture Perfect’. These albums were very much hit-or-miss, even though ‘Picture Perfect’ reached number two in the HEAT charts. They failed to reach the heights (being the sheer pop-punk cheek and enjoyment the band first brought to the fore) that their first self-titled album did, and Every Avenue fans clung on to the hope that they would one day, once again, return to the lambasting pop-punk that made people take notice of this exciting, full-of-potential, energetic band.
Young Guns have revealed the supporting bill for their upcoming headline tour across the UK in September. Joining the band on the road are American pop-punk act Every Avenue, Scottish trio The Xcerts and Australian quartet Dangerous!. Full dates of the tour can be seen below:
