NEWS: Enter Shikari detail ‘Live At Alexandra Palace’, out November 4th 2016!


Earlier this year, St. Albans outfit Enter Shikari embarked on their biggest headline tour across the UK to date, closing it off at London’s Alexandra Palace on February 27th. The band are now set to release the recorded concert, aptly titled ‘Live At Alexandra Palace’, on November 4th 2016 through Ambush Reality/PIAS.

NEWS: Enter Shikari named main support for Bring Me The Horizon’s London Halloween show!


With Bring Me The Horizon set to play a headline show at London’s O2 Arena this Halloween to kick off their headline UK tour in November, St. Albans favourites Enter Shikari have just been announced as the main support act for the date, which already sees support coming from both Don Broco and Basement.

NEWS: Enter Shikari unveil documentary of February 2016 UK arena tour!


Back in February of this year, St. Albans based troupe Enter Shikari embarked on a headline area tour across the UK, the biggest of the band’s tours to date. They’ve now released an almost 30 minute long documentary (shot by Alexey Makhov) of putting the tour together, and their time on the road.

FEATURE: How bands and musicians reacted to the UK leaving the EU!


Yesterday (June 24th 2016), after hours and hours of voting across the country, and then those votes being counted up, the UK made the decision to leave the EU. For those who aren’t quite sure what that is, that’s the European Union – a selection of countries across Europe that work together in a huge number of ways, including economically, travel, and trade, if we’re going to be super brief about it.

The UK has been a part of the EU for over four decades, and following the poll results is the first country (or, set of countries as it includes England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland) to decide to leave the union after being a part of it. Of course, such a decision has split the opinions of many up and down the country, and as it affects the music industry, many musicians have also expressed their feelings on this historic decision.

NEWS: Rou Reynolds (Enter Shikari) posts podcast discussing the EU referendum!


Well known for his opinions on political and social matters through his position as the frontman for St. Albans post-hardcore troupe Enter Shikari, Rou Reynolds has released a podcast through his Step Up series, in which he talks and about and discusses the upcoming EU referendum.

Through the podcast, he explains how the EU system works, and the pros and cons of both the decision to support the Bremain or Brexit parties.

NEWS: Petition launched to UK Government and Parliament to protect music fans from ticket touts!


In an effort that will protect ticket buyers under the Consumers Rights Act, which will include the purchase of tickets for music, arts, and sports events, a petition has been launched and presented to the UK Government and Parliament to take this action and make it legally binding.

This in turn will reduce the risk of fans being ripped-off by over-priced tickets from touts for events that have sold out. Touting also deprives the Treasury of VAT, and performance copyright holders of royalties that should be paid on the mark-ups.

In February, the social media giant that is Facebook celebrated their 12 year anniversary. Back before the days when Facebook ruled the roost (yeah, we’re going back a bit now), MySpace was the social media daddy.

Sure, if you were a regular MySpace user, you probably recall the intense amounts of huge fake hair with multiple colours, the range of ‘scene’ names where you’d include anything mildly gory or dangerous if it wasn’t “RAWR”, whore trains, a plethora of bulletins asking for PC4PC/S4S/W4W/etc or telling you to repost something or you’ll die, amongst others. However, one of the things that kept MySpace such a interesting prospect from its inception to its dwindling demise from about 2008 onwards was what it did for music.
