There’s nothing like a good festival and, coming into its debut year, Liverpool’s Radstock sits right on Easter bank holiday weekend, making it pretty much the first festival of the year. With a line-up consisting of simply great British acts (bar one or two exceptions), when we were invited to go we just couldn’t refuse. Here’s some photos of a bunch of bands who played throughout the day, including The Blackout, Don Broco, Yashin, Bleed From Within and more:

With its debut year about to take play, Liverpool’s Radstock Festival is pretty much the first music festival of the year. What makes it a special one however is that almost every single band (with one or two exceptions) featured on the line-up is British, a rarity nowadays. Spread across three stages, we had to catch what could well be the beginning of a long lasting festival to come.

Bringing their first step into the festival circuit and bringing one of the first events of its kind to Manchester earlier this year at 3-dayer SummerJam, local Mancunian promoters Mutiny Events decided to follow this on with a closing 1-day festival, aptly titled WinterJam. Much like its counterpart set much earlier in the year, WinterJam was packed to the brim with many of the hardcore and underground metal scene’s most promising. Hopefully, all of the moshing, hardcore dancing and adrenaline will warm things up in the cold climate.
