TOP 10 ALBUMS OF 2017!

The past 12 months that was 2017 has been one hell of a year for music for so many reasons. Some of those reasons aren’t so great, as we all know, but in terms of new records, this year has delivered in absolute spades, both from bands and artists we’ve known and loved for years, and also shining new talent breaking through from the underground.

It’s always pretty tough (to put it mildly) to narrow down the cream of the crop from the entire year, but we sat down, racked our brains to the absolute limit, and have knocked into shape what we feel are the top ten albums of the year. Deaf Havana have been through a steadily constant amount of change to get to where they are today. They’ve had a fluctuating number of band members, and have found themselves straddling music genres until the success of 2013 release, ‘Old Souls’, provided some much needed stability to the quintet. This record returned them to the forefront of the music scene, albeit in a more mainstream manner.
