Every band these days seems to have a good news story about their set at Download Festival 2012 and, as it turns out, so do Dead Harts. Their performance on the Red Bull stage this year was full of energy and reminiscent of sets from Heights and TRC, and look where those bands are now. With the release of their debut album, ‘Born Into Rags To Die No Richer’, the quintet will surely follow the well-trodden path to sub-popularity in the hardcore genre.
Annual Chesterfield based music festival Skintfest have just confirmed the three headline acts that will be performing at next year’s weekend event: Neck Deep, Rumour Mill and Dead Harts. You can view the festival’s official poster and find more information below:

After a vigorous battle for votes in the run up to and during last night’s final Red Bull Bedroom Jam performance, Exeter’s I Divide were crowned the champions of the 2012 edition of the annual contest.
After an intense and exciting summer filled with festival appearances, Red Bull Bedroom Jam have finally narrowed down the eight festival touring bands to announce this year’s three finalists who will go on to the next and last stage of the contest.
Now celebrating the 10th year since its inception, it’s obvious that to mark this important milestone in the event’s history, Download Festival was going to make it truly special weekend to remember. If we weren’t there, we would have thrown a tantrum. Here’s our review of what we thought of the opening day of what would undoubtedly be a fantastic weekend of rock, metal, punk and alternative music:

This year’s Red Bull Bedroom Jam final 8 bands have just wrapped up what to most bands would be a once in a life-time experience: performing a set at Donington’s Download Festival. Along with a set at Slam Dunk a few weeks prior, we got in touch with melodic metallers Dead Harts to talk about their experiences so far and what they’ve got planned very soon:

Returning for a second year and bringing in a fifth stage from The Forum just down the road, Hit The Deck Festival had once again brought a stellar line-up to the city of Nottingham to which rock, punk, metal and hardcore fans across the nation travelled far and wide to be a part of. With headliners across the stage consisting of Kids In Glass Houses, Cancer Bats, Rolo Tomassi and Zebrahead, it’s fair to say the Nottingham day festival was successful for a second year running.
