Thirty minutes after doors, and ABC2 looks a very desolate place. It seems the intended audience for this gig may have indeed opted for Eyes Set To Kill and Shadows Chasing Ghosts, who are playing just a couple streets away. However, given this line-up, I don’t think that even Derren Brown could predict how this night will go.

NEWS: Dead & Divine in the UK for two back-to-back tours next month!

Canadian outfit Dead & Divine are heading over to UK shores next month for two back-to-back tours, adding up to a total of 22 shows here in total. The band will start off on the Heart In Hand tour before joining the UK run of the Norma Jean/The Chariot European tour straight after. All dates of both tours can be seen below:

As the metalcore machine rumbles on, churning out a surplus of interchangable bands, it’s more than fair to say that the genre has become saturated. With polished choruses and breakdowns in abundance, it’s difficult to find an act with the power to truely excite. It is pleasantly surprising therefore that Canadian outfit Dead And Divine are doing something slightly different, and hugely more sincere, than many of the more popular metalcore torchbearers. This is largely due to the fact they sound, unlike most, genuinely pissed off.
