NEWS: BBC Introducing stage announced for Reading/Leeds 2011!

The easy thing to do would be to start this review off with the clichéd term, “they’re so good, they named themselves twice”, but, as I’ve said, that would be the easy thing to do so I won’t do it. Cuba Cuba are indeed a good band though. They’re one of the new breed: that is, they’re a young band who’ve ditched the so-called fashionable/cool genres to be in and are just making music that they love. This is obvious throughout ‘Where Else Is Safe But The Road?’, as every track here is crafted with such delicacy, precision and downright talent that it shows the band know where they want to go and what they’re trying to do with their sound, and it also shows that they’re on top of their game.
