Cancer Bats have to be one of the hardest working, hardest rocking and hardest partying bands in the industry today. They operate on an endless loop of touring, hitting festivals and dives alike with their acerbic brand of scuzzy punk. The audience at The Fleece tonight are cramped in, sweated up and ready to let loose and, with a line-up like this, things are set to go nuclear.

Well, 2012 has been one hell of a year. Thankfully, the world hasn’t ended and hopefully that’ll remain the same for these remaining few weeks, though 21/12/2012 is less than a week away now. Anyway, our survival has allowed us to be blessed with many great releases throughout these past 12 months, spawning from acts across the globe at many different stages of their career.

With their third album obtaining a plethora of praise from nearly all corners of the music industry, obtaining their highest charted full-length to date along with successful singles to boot and, most recently, the launch of their very own beer, it’d be an understatement to say that 2012 has been a great year for Enter Shikari. To close things off, the band are doing one last UK tour run before sitting in front of their TVs, stuffing their faces and opening presents.
