There’s nothing like a good festival and, coming into its debut year, Liverpool’s Radstock sits right on Easter bank holiday weekend, making it pretty much the first festival of the year. With a line-up consisting of simply great British acts (bar one or two exceptions), when we were invited to go we just couldn’t refuse. Here’s some photos of a bunch of bands who played throughout the day, including The Blackout, Don Broco, Yashin, Bleed From Within and more:

With its debut year about to take play, Liverpool’s Radstock Festival is pretty much the first music festival of the year. What makes it a special one however is that almost every single band (with one or two exceptions) featured on the line-up is British, a rarity nowadays. Spread across three stages, we had to catch what could well be the beginning of a long lasting festival to come.

British metalcore outfit Bury Tomorrow have certainly been on the rise since the release of their sophomore record ‘The Union Of Crowns’ last July, securing many support slots, festival bookings and, most recently, a slot as main support for The Ghost Inside. We caught up with frontman Dani Winter-Bates shortly before the Manchester date of the tour to talk about the shows so far, work on their third full-length, covering Ricky Martin and more.

Heavy hitters The Ghost Inside admittedly aren’t regular visitors to the UK, but when they do they’re surely a band not to be missed. Touring in promotion of their latest full-length, ‘Get What You Give’, the Californian powerhouse are hitting up some rather tiny venues on this tour run, sponsored by both Impericon and Rock Sound, including Manchester’s Academy 3, which we stood witness to.
