Known primarily for their filthy swagger and a couple of rather successful radio baiting singles, Buckcherry are perhaps the last outfit to come to mind when we think ‘thoughtful’ or ‘profound’. With this point of view in mind, we could easily see ‘Confessions’ turn out to be amongst the most intriguing releases of the year, as the band turn in not only their accustomed strut, but also some surprisingly heartfelt slow burners which scream ‘hidden depths’.
