NEWS: Brand New confirm they will NOT be releasing a new album in 2016!

Despite much anticipation for a fifth album and follow-up to 2009’s ‘Daisy’ to finally come to fruition at some point this year, Brand New have posted an image of a letter via their Facebook page earlier today confirming that a new album will not be put out by the band in 2016. The band have attributed this to feeling that the collection of songs they have are “not complete enough, refined enough, or edited thoroughly enough” to be considered “finished or essential”.

NEWS: Brand New release surprise new EP, ‘3 Demos, Reworked’!

Remaining cryptic as always with whether they’ll be sticking together or calling it a day, emotive rock favourites Brand New have now unexpectedly released another blast from the past with a new (well, less new, more unreleased) EP of demos and older tracks, aptly titled ‘3 Demos, Reworked’. The release features three older tracks, alongside a decade old demo counterpart each, resulting in a total of 6 tracks.

FEATURE: 50 albums that turn 10 in 2016!

At the moment, it’s looking like 2016 is going to be a great year in terms of new albums, with a handful of huge bangers already out there and many more undoubted hits confirmed to be hitting out ears in the next few months. It’s also important to look back every so often, and it just turns out that a decade ago in 2006 was a great year for albums too.

Of course there are hundreds, but we filtered together 50 great albums that turn 10-years-old this year to remember those modern classics, accompanied with streams to bring ourselves a massive hit of euphoric nostalgia.
