It’s not a regular occurrence to attend a gig at an outdoor venue, at least not in the UK. Yet, following the tragic events that took place at the Manchester Arena in May, a number of shows scheduled to be hosted there had been moved, rescheduled, or cancelled for the coming months whilst repairs are carried out. Blink-182 went for the former option, instead occupying the amphitheatre makeshift venue that is the Castlefield Bowl for their first Manchester show in five years.

NEWS: Tom DeLonge & Travis Barker reportedly tease reforming Box Car Racer!

In a small series of tweets posted by Tom DeLonge (ex-Blink-182), it appears that he and Travis Barker (Blink-182 drummer) have been talking about their side-project Box Car Racer, which the two former back in 2001 to pursue darker songs and lyrical topics. At the time, whilst in Blink-182, they were more focused on their hit album, ‘Take Off Your Pants & Jacket’.

Through the project, the band released one self-titled full-length in 2002, which spawned the singles ‘I Feel So’ and ‘There Is’. They also toured briefly off the back of the record before disbanding the project in 2003, reportedly due to tensions between the two bands.

LYRIC VIDEO: Blink-182 – 6/8

Blink-182 have posted a lyric video for their new song ‘6/8’. The track is taken off the deluxe re-release of ‘California’, which includes eleven new tracks and is released on May 19th.

The release is scheduled a few months before their UK tour which is set to take place in the Summer.

AUDIO: Blink-182 – Can’t Get You More Pregnant

With a deluxe edition of their latest full-length ‘California’ facing an imminent release, the boys in Californian pop-punk trio Blink-182 have just released a stream for one of the new tracks from the extended re-issue.

The song, titled ‘Can’t Get You More Pregnant’, is a just over half a minute slice of classic Blink pop-punk tomfoolery and goodness.
