Beach Slang haven’t taken a breath since James Alex created the band in 2013 following the break-up of his old band, Weston. With their debut album ‘The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us’ out just less than a year ago, ‘A Loud Bash Of Teenage Feelings’ continues on the same themes and sounds that the Philadelphia band introduced during their inception; punk infused, heart on your sleeve, honest music perfect to lose yourself in.

In today’s modern punk scene, the rise of pop-punk as a genre and acts such as Neck Deep and The Story So Far is taking far more prominent focus than the classic punk blueprint; quick songs, aggressive passion, and general chaotic fun. Beach Slang are taking this idea by the throat, and dragging it up the ranks with them, and tonight they’re showing Manchester just why we should just shut up, pay attention, and give a fuck.

Authenticity is hard to come by these days, and, more often than not, what sounds like bona fide originality turns out to be nothing more than a manufactured doppelganger of the sorts.
