It has been revealed that metal heavyweights Five Finger Death Punch and David Draiman’s new venture Device will be supporting Avenged Sevenfold on their upcoming UK arena tour. Check out the dates below.

Note: As only two members of the site were able to attend the festival weekend, we were sadly unable to cover every band performing throughout the day.
Following onto the second day of the 2011 Download Festival, the weather is looking better and brighter and the main stage attraction of the first ever UK performance from System Of A Down since their return from their hiatus draws in what could well be the biggest crowd of the whole weekend. With a selection of other great acts across all four stages, Saturday could definitely be the best day of the whole weekend:

Metal favourites System Of A Down have reunited from their 2006 indefinite hiatus for a string of European festival appearances, one of which is a confirmed headline slot at Download Festival next year. Avenged Sevenfold have also been confirmed on the festival’s line-up for 2011.

If you’re wondering what a midlife crisis might sound like if it was recorded, it’s the album ‘Nightmare’. I don’t think there’s been an album yet that has managed to incorporate as many heavy metal clichÃ©s whilst being serious about the music they produce. Avenged Sevenfold have been slowly changing their sound for the past few years, getting ever so slowly yet surely worse with every release they put out. If it wasn’t for the fact they are all clearly talented musicians this would just be un-fucking-listenable to. However I digress, let’s get to the meat of this album.
