Welsh rockers Attack! Attack! have just announced that they are to break up following their upcoming tour dates in April, which the band have confirmed will be their last. The band recently posted on a statement regarding this decision on Facebook, which reads as follows:
It is with much regret that we have to inform you that Mike and Ryan are no longer in Attack! Attack!. We sat down with Ryan in early 2012 and he told us that it was becoming increasingly difficult for him to commit to the band. We hoped that this situation would change but unfortunately it hasn’t. Since recording the album Mike has decided that the time has come for him to move on too. Will and I totally respect their decisions and hope that they have great success in whatever they choose to do moving forward.
The 4 of us have shared some amazing moments together. We have toured the world, released albums, played shows with some of our favourite bands and met the most incredible people. All of these memories are priceless to us. To be honest we couldn’t imagine continuing the band without Mike and Ryan being in it, Attack! Attack! was meant to be the 4 of us together and if it can’t be that way then Will and I feel it is better for the band to finish. We have not made this decision lightly, we have spent months and months deliberating what to do. It has been one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make.
The tour we have booked will still be going ahead but unfortunately for personal reasons Mike and Ryan will not be able to play with us. We will be asking our friend Todd from Straight Lines and Paul from Colours Of One to play with us on the tour. This tour will of course now be our final ever tour as Attack! Attack!, so we really hope you can join us for a show and sing along with us for one last time. Let’s make it a send off to remember!
Sincerely , from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support. Without you none of this would have been possible.
Neil , Will, Mike and Ryan”

Welsh rockers Attack! Attack! have uploaded their brand new music video for ‘Blood On My Hands’. Take a look:
Photographer Marianne Harris shoots bands on an almost daily basis, whether that be for promo shoots or during some live shows. With this in mind she’s always open to new music as it comes, so we thought we’d find out what has been rocking her 2010, so here’s her list of her 15 favourite albums of the year. She couldn’t quite decide which one deserves which position though, so here they are in alphabetical order of the artist/band name instead:
Tags: A Day To Remember, Atlas&i, Attack! Attack! (UK), Bring Me The Horizon, Burn The Fleet, Bury Tomorrow, Deftones, Devil Sold His Soul, Emarosa, Lower Than Atlantis, Marianne Harris, Proceed, Shadows Chasing Ghosts, The Ghost Inside, Vanna, Yashin

Welsh rockers Attack! Attack! have just announced details of a Radio 1 tour of Wales from November 10th – 12th. They’ll be doing these shows in line with releasing their brand new double A-side single ‘We’re Not The Enemy/No Excuses’ which is out on November 8th 2010. You can video the video for ‘We’re Not The Enemy’ by clicking here, and the band’s full tour dates including the Radio 1 shows are as follows:
Welsh alternative rock quartet Attack! Attack! are releasing a new double A-side video of ‘We’re Not The Enemy’ and ‘No Excuses’ on November 8th 2010, both taken from their new album ‘The Latest Fashion’. The video for the former of the two can be seen right here:
Release Date: September 27th, 2010
Label: Hassle Records
Website: None available
There’s always a constant confusion between the two: Attack Attack! from America, and Attack! Attack! from Wales. Aside from one exclamation mark their names are indentical, and they’ve released both of their albums in the same year as each other. What is different though is their sounds; the Yankees going with a metal and synth fusion and the Welsh going with an alternative rock approach. The latter of the two had a good foundation going with their self-titled debut, but follow-up ‘The Latest Fashion’ is a great build up from what was already there into something more refined and stronger.
Welsh alt rock outfit Attack! Attack!‘s forthcoming album ‘The Latest Fashion’ is now online to stream in full on their MySpace profile page.
‘The Latest Fashion’ is out today (September 27th 2010) and is available from iTunes and other retailers!
After signing onto their new label home at Hassle Records, Welsh rock outfit Attack! Attack! (not to be confused with the US act of the same name) can proudly reveal the name of their new album ‘The Latest Fashion’, due for release on September 27th.
‘The Latest Fashion’ Tracklisting:
01.) Everybody Knows
02.) No Excuses
03.) My Shoes
04.) Blood On My Hands
05.) Seen Me lately
06.) Latest Fashion
08.) Best Mistake
09.) We’re Not The Enemy
10.) Not Afraid
11.) No Tomorrow

This date is a special one for The Blackout‘s calendar for one, arguably two reasons; one being that it’s the birthday of vocalist Sean Smith, and the arguable second being that it’s the second time the band have played in Stoke in their career. However, the band are back at The Sugarmill during their short after Christmas tour, and have brought along another two Welsh bands for their support.
