NEWS: BBC Radio 1 Rocks line-up announced!

BBC Radio 1 have revealed the line-up for their annual Radio 1 Rocks event – and it’s huge.

The gig, hosted by DJs Annie Mac and Daniel P Carter, will take place at BBC Maida Vale studios in London, and will feature performances from Arcane Roots, Architects, Enter Shikari, Marmozets, Neck Deep and PVRIS.

Over the weekend, Daniel P. Carter previewed Arcane Roots‘ new song ‘Matter’ on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show. Following on from that, the trio then announced that their new record ‘Melancholia Hymns’ would be released on September 15th 2017, four years after their previous album, ‘Blood & Chemistry’.

After the warm reception received on their debut album, ‘Blood And Chemistry’, the post-hardcore/mathcore/progressive rock trio have dropped the follow-up EP, ‘Heaven & Earth’. On their debut, the Kingston-upon-Thames group took some of the elements from their mini-album ‘Left Fire’ and combined it with the bravado and grand choruses that could be similar to genre contemporaries Biffy Clyro. This proved to be a winning combination, seeing them embark on a headline tour, and support the likes of The Used and Muse.
