American rockers Anberlin have just released a brand new music video to accompany their latest single, ‘Unstable’. You can stream and watch the video via the embed below:
Date: February 2nd, 2013
Venue: Academy 3, Manchester
Interviewer: Andy Roberts
Coming back with a more vibrant and strong sense of urgency with their latest full-length studio output, ‘Vital’, Florida’s Anberlin were, as always, warmly welcomed when news of a headline run return to the UK was confirmed. During said tour, we caught with the band’s frontman Stephen Christian on the Manchester date of the tour to discuss the record, what he and his bandmates like most about coming to the UK and more:
Now that it’s February, I think people are starting to have a more positive perspective on things. For starters, the weather is clearing up a little bit, the days are getting warmer and the nights are getting shorter, most of us have just undergone an exhausting battle with exams and are beginning a new term so the work load is relatively low right now. So, what better way to celebrate this new found freedom than with a bloody good gig in a small, intimate venue with some great bands from all corners of the world.
Scottish alt rock trio The Xcerts have been confirmed to support Anberlin on their forthcoming headline stint of the UK in January. All dates of the tour are listed below:

Note: As only three members of the site were able to attend the festival weekend, we were sadly unable to cover every band performing throughout the day.
The third and final day of the Sonisphere weekend brings to the table another day filled with brilliant acts sprawling across a range of different genres. With what might be Slipknot‘s final UK performance together (at least with the current line-up), it’s an emotional and iconic day for all maggots in attendance.

Anberlin are a band that have never quite got themselves over the line, even though they have a huge and growing fanbase. The push they’ve received into the mainstream – through radio airplay, consistent media attention – would make you believe they are a much more successful band than they really are, yet their music and appeal has often been more of a lingering thud than a loud conceivable bang.
Currently on tour supporting Anberlin, British 3-piece The Xcerts are heading on a headline tour of their own in November and December once the Anberlin tour has wrapped up. Check out all of the band’s remaining tour dates below:
