Born in the Italian city of Turin, fresh-faced metalcore quintet Forbidden Seasons address all of the feelings that we all experience and brave, some largely due to the mistreatment from others; loneliness, anger, and misplaced trust. Sadly, it’s a necessary evil from life that establishes us all.
These tribulations are displayed across the course of the band’s debut full-length, ‘Promise’, and we’ve teamed up with the up-and-comers to bring it to you in its entirety exclusively ahead of its release later this week.
Speaking on the influence and mission statement of the record, the band share, “‘Promise’ is our first full-length album. It focuses on people and all of the promises never kept by them because of their selfishness. It’s also about hope, and the chance to catch it by following your own dreams. In this album, we decided to use a heavier sound, representing the weight of the world on your shoulders. We’re so happy to finally be able to share with you the stream of ‘Promise’. We hope you will love it, and we can’t wait to release the album officially on March 16th! Let us know what you think about it!”
So, blending the likes of Saosin and Underoath in an emotionally relatable, soaring yet heavy hitting affair, here it is – ‘Promise’ from start-to-end can be streamed and listened to in full below.
The band’s debut studio album, ‘Promise’, is set for release on March 16th 2018 through This Is Core.
