After already confirming a massive 21-date headline tour across the UK next year which will take up the better part of April and May, Lower Than Atlantis have now confirmed the support acts that will be joining them for the run, which is expected to be one of the band’s last stints in support of their latest record, ‘Safe In Sound’.

NEWS: Butcher Babies confirm UK tour for February/March 2018!

Californian thrash metalcore outfit Butcher Babies are currently on the road over in the US supporting their recently released third full-length, ‘Lilith’, and now the band have confirmed that they’ll be heading on over to the UK in the new year for a short headline stint on our stores before moving on over to mainland Europe.

NEWS: Silent Descent release third studio album, ‘Turn To Grey’!

Hailing from Dartford, metal six-piece Silent Descent have recently released their eagerly awaited third studio album ‘Turn To Grey’.

New Noise Magazine previewed the album with an exclusive stream ahead of its release on December 1st which was greeted with a great reception from the band’s fan base.

The album was mixed/mastered by Ermin Hamidovic at Systematic Productions (Periphery – Select Difficulty, Animals As Leaders – The Madness of Many, Devin Townsend Project – Transcendence)

VIDEO: Machine Head – Catharsis

Heavy metal heroes Machine Head have released a dramatic video for their new single ‘Catharsis’ the title track of their ninth studio album set to be released on January 26th via Nuclear Blast.

The video draws on Butoh – a Japanese form of expressive dance which was born out of the destruction of the Nagasaki and Hiroshima nuclear bombings. The dance encapsulates the feelings of fear, death and pain and sits uncomfortably well with the twisted nature of the track.

It’s very rare that a supporting act is causing more excitement than a headliner, but that’s exactly what we have tonight. Despite Normandie‘s ever growing stature, there’s no doubt that tonight’s excitement all centres around the performance of William Ryan Key. This is the first time the ex-Yellowcard frontman is playing shows on this shore, and no-one knows what to expect.

Standing outside of The Garage in North London, you’d be forgiven for thinking that the Victoria line train you came in on was actually a time machine to 2007; the billboard outside listing upcoming gigs shows that The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Silverstein, and [spunge] will all be playing here this month.

NEWS: Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) injures photographer; issues video apology!

Currently on tour in support of ‘Villains’, the band’s seventh full-length studio album, Queens Of The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is currently facing a lot of heat after video footage surfaced of him kicking a camera into the face of a professional photographer midway through their set, which resulted in them spending the evening in the A&E ward in hospital.

INTRODUCING: Hail The Sun

We’re putting the spotlight on the hottest and most exciting new bands around with our Introducing feature, ready to highlight the artists with the biggest potential to make an impact on their scene.

Although Hail The Sun have been around since 2009 and had a whole bunch of releases, this month sees their first ever tour in the UK. The Californian prog rock band join Silverstein on the road across the country in support of their new EP ‘Secret Wars’ which drummer and singer Donovan Melero said was to “acknowledge all those battles that are kept behind closed doors. There may always be a force working against us, by our chemistry, or by those who supposedly have the public’s best interest in mind.” Catch up with Hail The Sun with our handy introducing guide.

If there were a band that epitomised the music scene in 2017, it would be Creeper. The band have absolutely exploded unlike any other band in the last decade or so, and have managed to amass such a dedicated cult-like fanbase which could be compare to My Chemical Romance‘s early days. Tonight, the band are at the tail-end of their Theatre Of Fear tour, with the band promising an ambitious show and a brand-new stage production.
