That’s exactly what the Manchester crowd at Martyr Defiled‘s headline show have decided to do. Before their show that evening though, we caught up with frontman Matt Jones and drummer Richard Duffin to talk over a few things.
In this interview, the guys talk about their upcoming album ‘No Hope, No Morality’, the meaning behind its title, how the shoot went for recent track ‘Demons In The Mist’, resigning with Siege Of Amidia Records, bassist Harry George John‘s current status in the line-up, plans for their next music video, the difficulties of being in a band at the current stage of their career and more.

That’s exactly what the Manchester crowd at Martyr Defiled‘s headline show have decided to do, opting to put the romantic meals to one side and instead jump on one another, scream down a microphone and, in some cases, hitting someone else in the pit.
After taking the decision to part ways in April last year, Leeds based post-hardcore outfit The Ocean Between Us have just confirmed via their official Facebook page that they have decided to reform and will be releasing their second full-length record later this year. The Kerrang! Tour is an annual pilgrimage that cavorts across the UK with a line-up that’s more unpredictable than an evening with Derren Brown. With past headliners including All Time Low and Black Veil Brides, it traditionally has the atmosphere of a creche, but this year boasts a complete overhaul in genre and sound.
Finally back on the road across the UK after several stints outside of the country here and there, London’s The Defiled are bringing a close to the ‘Daggers’ era of their career with the aptly titled ‘No Place Like Home’ tour. Let’s see if home can bring them the welcome back they need before they head back into the studio.

While A Day To Remember are off having their nails done, the relentless The Story So Far and Every Time I Die cannot simply sit around doing nothing and, as such, are doing a handful of their own shows inbetween the ADTR support dates. With two high-octane bands on the bill, these shows are not to be missed for those desperate to see said support acts without paying the high price of an ADTR gig.
