NEWS: You Me At Six tease ‘Take Off Your Colours’ 10th anniversary plans!

There’s a lot already planned British pop-rockers You Me At Six, who’ve already announced the release of their sixth album ‘VI’ in October, but it looks like there’s something in-store for their older fans too.

The band have starting teasing something via their socials that relates to their breakthrough debut album, ‘Take Off Your Colours’, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.

You can check out their short teaser video shared below, which has us anticipating an announcement at 6:00PM (UK time) on Monday (July 23rd 2018).

Many fans are speculating (and dearly hoping) that the announcement will be for an anniversary tour – or at least a one-off show or two – where they’ll be performing the album in full from start-to-finish.

Their debut album ‘Take Off Your Colours’ was originally released on October 6th 2008, which means that its tenth anniversary falls the day after the band drop new album ‘VI’ on October 5th 2018.

‘Take Off Your Colours’ spawned several hit singles for the band, including ‘Save It For The Bedroom’, ‘Gossip’, and ‘If I Were In Your Shoes’, and catapulted the band into the forefront of the UK pop-punk scene.

A year later on September 14th 2009 the band re-released the album with revised artwork (the same that’s used in the tenth anniversary teaser video) and included additional singles ‘Finders Keepers’ and ‘Kiss And Tell’.

We’ll share more news on this as it develops.
