It seems as though Scottish rockers Vukovi have some good news and some bad news to share with us all before we bring 2018 to a close.
The good news is that the band are already deep into writing and recording their second album and follow-up to their 2017 self-titled debut.
The band news is that they’ve regrettably parted ways with their bassist, Jason Trotter, who the band explain has stepped down moving forward to allow him to “pursue new things.”
You can read the band’s full statement below.
“Sadly we have to announce our good friend Jason has decided to move on from the band and pursue new things. It’s a decision we completely support and there is no bad vibes. We remain friends with Jason and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
We toured for 7 years together, and have been through thick and thin on this amazing journey. Just wanna thank him for bringing some huge bass lines and a tonne of energy to the stage throughout his time in the band.
However. We are deep into the making of album 2 and cannot wait to let you hear what we have in store next year. I think you may like it.
Love VUKOVI xxx”
More details surrounding the band’s forthcoming sophomore album will be unveiled over the coming months.
