Seattle post-hardcore/alternative metal up-and-comers Vespera have dropped a few songs here and there over the past year and a half, but it now it finally looks like they’re preparing for their full-length debut.

The band have just premiered a video for their brand new single ‘Sleepless’ (directed by Jon Vulpine), which was filmed in a decommissioned nuclear power plant where some scenes from Transformers: Dark Of The Moon were also shot.

Speaking on the track lyrically, the band had this to say.

“Emotionally abusive and toxic relationships can seem impossible to escape. We often give all of ourselves to someone or something, only to repeatedly be brought down and dragged through the mud. We let toxic people get the best of us, and despite our best efforts and most genuine intentions, we continue to suffer at the hands of our abusers. ‘Sleepless’ touches on the agony of these relationships, and the fear of not knowing how to escape.”

The band’s debut studio album, ‘The Thoughts That Plague You’, is expected to see a release in early 2019.

More details surrounding the record are to be announced in the coming weeks.
