It has been reported by a number of German news outlets and music outlets that Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann has allegedly been accused of assaulting a man at a hotel during a short altercation.
According to reports, the incident happened on June 8th 2019 at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany following the band’s performance in the city earlier that evening.
An article published by German newspaper Bild (here), that has since been translated by The PRP, reports that the altercation apparently came about after the unidentified 54-year-old man approached Lindemann and his female companion, telling her “I would pay double for you.”
Lindemann is then said to have confronted the man and asked him to apologise to the female friend after implying that she was a prostitute. The man instead clenched his fists and attempted to direct the industrial metal vocalist outside of the hotel to fight.
It is at this point when Lindemann allegedly struck the man in the face with his elbow, which resulted in leaving him with a nosebleed and Lindemann then leaving and disappearing to his hotel room.
According to reports local police have confirmed that an incident took place, but have given no further details on what happened or if he’ll be pressed with charges of assault.
