Earlier this week, Pennsylvania based pop-punks The Wonder Years started sending their fans into a complete frenzy. Though everyone knew there was a new album on the way, what they didn’t know was just when that’d be, or what to expect of it.
Then, fans started to receive an untitled 7″ with two tracks on it – one side being a full song, the other being a spoken word poem.
After some digging, fans uncovered a lot of things, including the name of the song, the potential name and cover artwork for their sixth album, and a tentative track listing. You can read more about it in our initial report (here).
Now, as fans suspected through their investigative work, The Wonder Years do have their sixth album ‘Sister Cities’ finished and ready to go, scheduled for release on April 6th 2018 through Hopeless Records.
The band have unveiled a trailer to build up anticipation towards the release, which you can stream and check out below.
More details surrounding the new record will be confirmed as it develops.
