Back in January, punk rockers The Distillers subtly announced their return from their 2005 initiated hiatus by means of a short teaser video and a newly-opened official Twitter account.
Since then, aside from a one-off show in San Diego, California in late April, any further confirmed activity and output from the band has been pretty much deadly silent. Well, that is until now.
The Distillers have now released their first new cut of material in 15 years with a single called ‘Man Vs. Magnet’, which appears to hark back the style seen on the band’s 2003 LP, ‘Coral Fang’.
You can stream and listen to ‘Man Vs. Magnet’ via the embed posted below.
Not only that, but the track was also released with an accompanying b-side, ‘Blood In Gutters’, which can be streamed below.
At the time of writing, though it’s assumed that both tracks will appear on a forthcoming full-length or EP, no news of a release has been confirmed as of yet.
