Whilst Manchester based pop-rock/indie-rock outfit The 1975 had confirmed we had two new albums coming within the next 12 months – one in 2018 and the other in 2019 – we had never been told of a date.
Well, the first of the two, which would be the band’s third full-length record and titled ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’, has now had a release date confirmed.
Posters have been dotted about Reading & Leeds Festival over the weekend clearly stating November 30th 2018.
One attendee and fan at the Leeds Festival site took a picture and tweeted it, questioning if this was indeed the release date of the forthcoming album.

Though there hasn’t been an explicit “yes”, frontman Matt Healey retweeted it. That’s undoubtedly a cryptic but definite “yes” anyway.
Of course, there’s still a lot yet to be unveiled surrounding the record, including a finalised and confirmed cover artwork, full track listing, and pre-order options.
More details will be confirmed as they develop.
