After a bit of inactivity over 2016 in terms of new music, bar the release of their one-off single ‘Endless Gray’ (here), Illinois based and emotionally driven metalcore quintet Sworn In have now announced that they’ve signed and deal and joined the roster over at Fearless Records.
The band announced the news of their new label partners yesterday, having previously been with Razor & Tie for their first two albums, by posting a short teaser clip of them working hard in the studio recording what will be their third full-length album, and follow-up to 2015’s ‘The Lovers/The Devil’.
Along with the above video, the band also shared a short statement, saying “Over the course of the past year we have remained quiet for good reason. It’s now time to begin shedding light on our silence and the first thing we’d like to say is that, with genuine excitement and gratitude we are ecstatic to announce that we have signed with the fantastic people at Fearless Records. The wait is drawing to a close and we truly thank you all for your patience, new album to drop this Summer 17.”
The band have worked with Kristofer Crummet for their new record, who has previously worked with Dance Gavin Dance, Issues, Sleeping With Sirens, Emarosa, and Alesana, to name a few.
More news surrounding the band’s yet-to-be-titled third studio album will be confirmed and announced as and when it develops.
