With their new album ‘Hydrograd’ dropping pretty soon, Iowa based hard rockers Stone Sour have confirmed that they’ll be heading over to the UK in November/December as part of a bigger headline run that involves dates across mainland Europe.
Speaking of the forthcoming record, frontman Corey Taylor explains, “This album is great because it’s got elements of everything. It’s got the heavy energy of the 80s, there’s punk moments, there’s hard rock moments – all the great amalgam of music. There’s even jazz and hip-hop moments, it’s really, really cool. It’s probably the coolest album I’ve made since the first Slipknot album. I feel very confident making that statement because it’s so good.”
You can find all of the band’s forthcoming headline UK dates listed below:
NOVEMBER 29 – BIRMINGHAM, Barclaycard Arena
NOVEMBER 30 – LEEDS, First Direct Arena
DECEMBER 01 – BRIGHTON, Centre
DECEMBER 04 – LONDON, O2 Brixton Academy
DECEMBER 05 – CARDIFF, Motorpoint Arena
DECEMBER 08 – GLASGOW, SSE Hydro
Support throughout the tour will come from The Pretty Reckless.
