Ahead of their supporting slot on the upcoming Shinedown tour, south London trio Press To MECO have released a video for their new single, ‘Itchy Fingers’.
The track is taken from the band’s second studio album ‘Here’s To The Fatigue’, which was released earlier this year via Marshall Records.
Speaking of the track, drummer Lewis Williams had this to say.
“‘Itchy Fingers’ is about the insecurities and negative thought patterns that present themselves at certain points in life. It’s the conversations you have with yourself when you’re caught in a cycle and you’re spiralling out. The song acts as a reminder to not get caught up in the way you think, acknowledge those negative thoughts and bring yourself back to the present. The new songs (on ‘Here’s To The Fatigue’) focus a lot on becoming disillusioned with your life and more emotionally weary with age. The album has a lot of existential angst, but also moments of clarity.”
