Cheltenham based indie-pop/pop-rock trio Polary have just debuted their new single, ‘Bad Love’, complete with a vibrant 80s inspired video too.
This is what Harry Ponting, the band’s vocalist/guitarist, had to say about the track and video.
“This single is about realising my Dad wasn’t a good guy anymore and that even if he said he loved me, it definitely wasn’t something that I wanted or requited. The feelings that I had at this specific time in my life were very much of angst and frustration and I just didn’t want him in my life anymore.
The title of the track is so simple and direct and I wanted this to translate in how the video came
across as well. It’s a bit tongue-in-cheek, but it’s also simple in its execution and I think it ties in nicely with the whole vibe of the single.”
