Following the very public and somewhat laced in drama departure of vocalist and founding member Austin Carlile in December 2016, metalcore/post-hardcore outfit Of Mice & Men confirmed that they would continue on as a four-piece, with no plans to recruit in a new frontman on the cards for the time being.
With bassist Aaron Pauley‘s previous stance fronting the now defunct Jamie’s Elsewhere before joining the band, it makes sense for him to step up to the plate, moving from back-up vocalist to lead vocalist along with his bass duties.
On Friday night (April 21st 2017), the band performed as a four-piece for the first time at the Las Rageous Festival in Downtown, Las Vegas.

Of Mice & Men will perform with this new and condensed line-up in the UK for the first time at this year’s Download Festival, performing on the main stage on the Saturday (June 10th 2017).
The band’s latest full-length, ‘Cold World’, the last to feature now ex-vocalist Austin Carlile, is available now through Rise Records.
