After some speculation and teasing online last week, British hardcore boys Lock & Key have confirmed that they’ve officially returned following an almost three year long absence.
During their time away since 2016, the members had focused on other projects and endeavours, including the now defunct Lifetight.
Along with the news of their return, the band have also released a brand new song, called ‘Changes’. This is what vocalist Rich Lardner had to say about it.
“‘Changes’ is about taking control of situations where other people seem to have the upper hand over you. The backbones of the song was actually written some time ago. When we realised that we were all eager to jump back into music this was the track we decided was the one we should come back with. The time apart really helped us all develop as people and musicians. We’re all excited to carry on building memories and friendships along the way!”
You can stream and check out ‘Changes’ along with its accompanying video below.
More details surrounding future activity and material from Lock & Key will be confirmed as it develops.
