Since it was first announced a few months back, the Blink-182 and Lil Wayne tour across North America was met with a great deal of controversy from fans on both sides of the touring bill.
Now, just a couple of weeks into the tour, it appears that Lil Wayne has reportedly decided to quit the remainder of the tour after apparently walking off stage mid-set having only performed four songs.
Mid-way through one of his songs at the Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia last night (July 11th 2019), Lil Wayne explained to the crowd that he was having a hard time “performing to a crowd” that he said is “not my swag.” You can see a short video of this along with a transcribed excerpt below.
“Hold on, I just want the people to know, if you’re wondering, please forgive me but I am so not used to performing to a crowd—and there’s not too many—that’s not my swag. I’m not sure how long I’m going to be able to do this tour, but make some noise for blink-182 for including me anyway. This might be my last night though. Let’s go.”
It was shortly after this when the rapper allegedly called the crowd “wack” before walking off of the stage.
Came to Jiffylube to see @LilTunechi tonight and my mans did 4 songs, said “y’all are wack I’m outta here” and dipped off the stage. He just entered Lebron territory in my book. GOAT to WOAT in a matter of 15 minutes

At the time of writing, it’s uncertain if Lil Wayne has officially left the tour or if he’ll be continuing to perform at later dates as planned.
UPDATE: Since the above events have happened, Lil Wayne has taken to Twitter to confirm that he will be continuing the remainder of the tour as planned.
Yesterday was krazy! But I want all my fans to know I won’t be quitting this tour! I’m having too much fun with my bros blink-182. Bangor,ME See you tomorrow!
