In just over a month, British singer/songwriter Jamie Lenman will be releasing ‘Shuffle’, his own wacky take on a covers album, which will feature reworkings of scores from film, TV, video games, and more.

His latest unveiling of what to expect comes in the form of ‘Taxi Driver’, which is his own rendition of the theme from 1976 thriller movie of the same name, which starred Robert De Niro.

Here’s what Lenman had to say about the song and his cover of it.

“Here as a special treat to see you into the weekend is a sneak peak from the new album – my own reworking of Bernard Herrmann’s classic theme from the legendary movie Taxi Driver!

I’ve adored this film and its score ever since I saw it and recording my own version was a dream come true. I hope you love it.”
