In a statement released by the now remaining members of the band, Philadelphia based pop-punks Grayscale have confirmed that they have parted ways with drummer, Nick Veno.

In their short statement that was published yesterday (March 17th 2019), the band explained that his removal from the band was due to “creative differences.” You can read it below.

“There have been some changes behind the scenes in our band. Due to some creative differences, this is the new Grayscale. The current tour we’re on will continue as planned, with Nick finishing out the remaining shows with us. More details to come on Monday.”

Shortly after the band published their statement, however, Veno took to Twitter to issue a statement of his own, in which he says “after being in a band with those guys for years, I have come to learn how self-centered they all really are.”

You can read his statement below.

“I’ll keep this as brief as I can. I am no longer in Grayscale. “Creative differences” is one way to put it, but after being in a band with those guys for years, I have come to learn how self-centered they all really are. I will be finishing the current tour with them, and that’s it. Please understand that I am not interested in providing more information at this time. Thank you for everything.”

At the time of writing, there’s no news on a replacement (permanent or temporary), though the remaining members of Grayscale have stated that further news on this will follow later today.

We’ll share more details on this as it develops.
