Moving from post-hardcore, to soul rock, to now an alternative pop-rock band, Kentucky’s Emarosa have embraced a full 80s inspired pop sheen with their brand new single, ‘Givin’ Up’.
The song acts as the lead single for their forthcoming fifth album, ‘Peach Club’, which acts as the follow-up to 2016’s ‘131’.
It’s also the first album to not feature founding member and keyboardist Jordan Stewart, who stepped down from the band earlier this year.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Bradley Walden explains that lyrically it reflects on a time when he was contemplating leaving Emarosa.
“I was kinda ready to stop being in this band. We weren’t sure what the next move was. I thought maybe I might have to give up. In writing this song, I realized when the music came (that) there’s no way I could let something like this go.”

The band’s fifth album, ‘Peach Club’, is set for release on February 8th 2019 through Hopeless Records.
