It’s the dawn of a new era for Crown The Empire as they’ve just dropped ’20/20′, their first new track in almost two years, and first official release following 2016’s ‘Retrograde’.

The band have also undergone some line-up changes since their last release, seeing guitarist/co-vocalist David Escamilla leaving the group last year and form his own project, Bad Fortune.

Speaking of the song, frontman Andy Leo commented with the following.

“I started to feel like I was living in a world where, even though we’re more connected than ever, I felt more alone than ever. It’s too easy to point the finger at vanity and self-obsession in technology, all the while being just as much a part of it. This is a letter to myself to remind me that I’m still human first. Thanks to everyone for sticking with Crown this far. I hope you enjoy this one.”

The band’s yet-to-be-announced fourth album and follow-up to ‘Retrograde’ is expected to drop in late 2018.
